Not so long ago, new houses were built without soffit vents, ridge vents, or design for whole-house ventilation. Today architects, contractors, and intelligent homeowners realize a house requires balanced ventilation. That's why a lot of American homes are going to need Condar's air supply ventilators in the next few years.
The majority of homes in the USA would benefit by getting at least one ASV. If your house is tight, you need it. If you have a kitchen fan, a bathroom fan, or a dryer vent, you need it. And if you have a fireplace, a woodstove, or vent-free gas you probably already realize you need something like this.
Outside air enters the ventilator protected from rain by a louvered grill. Insects and vermin are excluded by a separate screen directly behind the louvered grill. The ASV is made of tough ABS polymer.
After flowing through the tube that's cut to fit any wall thickness up to 14 inches, air is controlled by the damper. The damper is controlled manually from inside to be fully open, fully closed, or adjusted at will to any intermediate volume flow. If desired, the homeowner can dictate a constant minimum airflow by popping out an optional plug built into the damper just for this purpose.
Finally, before entering the room, air passes through a filter. The simple filter is removable for cleaning. It captures dust and helps prevent penetration of noise from outside as well. Condar offers an optional pollen filter, to take out very fine particulates, which can be substituted for the standard filter if desired.
The ASV-90 Air Supply Ventilator comes complete with hardware and caulking for installation. The dust filter is standard, and the pollen filter or hi-tech filter may be ordered separately.

Condar offers three filter choices for the Fresh Air Supply Ventilator. Each has its advantages. Choose for your particular application the filter that best serves your needs:
Standard Dust Filter
Comes installed in every new ASV-90. Can be washed as often as you like. Inexpensive. Gives you maximum airflow through the filter. Filters ordinary dust particles exceeding 10 microns.
Special Pollen Filter
Can be substituted for the standard dust filter. Filters out 90% of air pollutants over 5 microns in size. This filter ought not to be washed as its efficiency will be adversely affected. The filter’s construction reinforces filtering due to particles being caught within the whole thickness of the filter. This entails a longer life even with heavy soiling. Use of this filter affects volume of air replenished—therefore it is recommended to keep air supply damper fully open to maximize airflow.
High-Tec Filter-
To be substituted for standard dust filter to filter out extremely small particles (half-micron size and up) — viruses, bacteria, asbestos particles, skin & hair particles, unburned hydrocarbons from gasoline and diesel exhausts. This filter’s fibers are electrically charged to act as a magnet, and the filter’s high efficiency causes it to become soiled quickly. Not washable; requires replacement at frequent intervals. Reduces airflow through ventilator—damper must be wide open when using.
